The sauna is said to have originated in Finland over 2,000 years ago. In Finland, an old folk tale that entertaining the spirit residing in the sauna brings prosperity to the household still lives on, and saunas are found in homes and public facilities. People relax their minds and bodies there and communicate with each other. This exhibition explores the history and culture of the sauna, deeply rooted in Finnish life, from multiple perspectives, and seeks the secrets of a rich life.
