The Nandaimon Spring Festival is held at Rengeiin Tanjo-ji Temple, where sumo wrestlers hold babies and enter the ring, praying for good health, freedom from illness, and mental development. This lively and fun event draws families every year. Baby applications are accepted until April 20. First come, first served: 60 spots each for morning and afternoon sessions. Any baby under 2 years old with head control can apply regardless of gender. First, inquire by phone and apply early.
