About 300 cherry trees line up over about 2 km on the right bank of the Mitsugawa River. On the cherry trees along the Mitsugawa, between Mitsugawa Bridge and Alps Street—about 490 m—6 varieties of cherry trees centering on Higan cherries are planted. From Alps Street to the west, about 1,500 m, Yoshino cherries are planted. You can enjoy magnificent cherry blossoms while strolling along the riverbank.
