The Mobara City Honno Strawberry Production Association in Mobara City, Chiba Prefecture, is a popular local spot consisting of two farms, Nakada Strawberry Farm and Makino Strawberry Farm, offering fresh and delicious strawberries. Strawberry picking can be enjoyed from early February to late March. The sweet berries carefully grown in greenhouses are attractive. Strawberry sales are also popular, and strawberries suitable for home use or gifts can be purchased. Business hours are from 9:00 to 16:00, but it ends as soon as strawberries run out, so early visit is recommended. Access is good, about 10-15 minutes on foot from JR Honno Station.
