Hojo Pond, located in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is near the Tsukuba Path and old climbing path, also selected as one of the '100 Roads of Japan'. Surroundings are a famous cherry blossom spot with mountains as a backdrop, and around early April, 250 cherry trees bloom in profusion along with the arrival of spring. Every year in early April, they reach their best viewing, and the scenery woven by the cherry blossoms reflected on the pond's water surface and the mountains captivates the hearts of visitors.
