In northern Omura City, at the foot of Mount Gun, Nodake Lake is one of the "100 Best Reservoirs in Japan" with a circumference of 3 km. Around this nature-rich lake are campgrounds, cycling roads, waterside plaza, trim plaza, and more, making it a place of relaxation throughout the seasons. From late March, about 450 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in profusion along the green lake, perfect for spring walks and hanami.
