A famous temple originally founded by Hatakeyama Shigetada, a warrior of the Kamakura shogunate, and relocated here during the Keicho era. Daikokuten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods of Yono, is also enshrined here. The 30m-tall Tahoto pagoda on the right side of the main gate is the third largest in Japan, and the 6m-tall Higan cherry tree on the right side of the main hall is designated as a city natural monument, known as the 'Chiyo Cherry of Enjoin'. *Photography is prohibited on the temple grounds.
