Kunimatsu has been active since the early 2000s based at the 'Tobiu Art Community,' a renovated former elementary school in Tobiu, located inland from Shiraoi in south-central Hokkaido. This exhibition is not only a rare opportunity to encounter Kunimatsu's representative works, but also the first chance to unveil new works born from his encounter with the nature of Towada. Feel the breath from the works, Kunimatsu's breath, the earth's breath, and the breath of creation that continues to chain through time and space to people.
