The embankment from Kida Bridge to Shinakari Bridge on the Asuwa River flowing through the center of Fukui City is said to be Japan's best cherry tree-lined road. The 2.2km tunnel of about 600 cherry trees has been selected as one of the '100 best cherry blossom spots'. As a strolling course rich in water and greenery, it is a place of relaxation loved by many citizens, and during cherry blossom season, you can enjoy beautiful scenery.
