When cherry blossoms reach their peak, you pass through the torii gate, cross the vermillion Shinji Bridge over the Hojo Pond surrounded by cherry blossoms, and red lanterns lining the approach light up. The highlight is the contrast between cherry blossoms in full bloom and the vermillion drum bridge. Inside the precincts stands the rare 'En-musubi Kaya' (matchmaking torreya), where two ancient trees connect about 5 meters above ground via a thick branch. It is worshipped as a symbol of bonds and mutual support, including matchmaking, marital harmony, and family happiness.
