An exhibition that reconsiders the different expressive domains of tanka and illustration from the common axis of "emotion." More than 50 illustrators and poets participate, and visitors can view illustrations drawn based on tanka, tanka composed based on illustrations, displays where modern tanka and tanka by contemporary poets resonate, and installations using the entire space. In addition to a large illustration newly drawn by Mika Pikazo, an illustrator and the creative director of this exhibition, award-winning works from the contests "Illustration Contest Drawn from Tanka" and "Tanka Contest Composed from Illustrations," themed on the mutual expression of tanka and illustration, will also be exhibited.
