Gongen-yama Viewing Park in Nomo-cho, Nagasaki City, is a park on Mount Gongen, located at the southwesternmost tip of Japan. About 60 cherry trees are planted around the observatory, where you can view the blooming of Somei Yoshino and mountain cherry blossoms. The view is excellent: the World Heritage sites Hashima (Gunkanjima) and Takashima are visible nearby, and the Goto Islands and Amakusa can be seen in the distance, offering a spectacular panorama.
