Higashimatsuyama Peony Garden, with approximately 5,000 peonies of 150 varieties blooming on a site of about 30,000 square meters, is one of the largest peony gardens in the Kanto region. Paid admission is implemented in line with the peony bloom period, allowing visitors to enjoy the magnificent peonies in full bloom. During the period, in addition to the sale of shaved ice and drinks in collaboration with the children's book 'Kobito Zukan,' which celebrates its 20th anniversary, various events including the Kobito Endemic Species Encyclopedia Quiz Rally are also held. A giant flower handwashing basin filled with peony flowers appears on the outdoor stage for just 4 days during Golden Week.
