Aodaru refers to the phenomenon in which water dripping from rocks freezes and looks like a blue band of water. This natural product, which can actually only be seen deep in the mountains, is reproduced in Fukuchi Onsen by spraying stream water onto the trees of the hot spring town. The snowy walking path surrounded by Aodaru is very fantastical, and the local performing art "Henbetori" is a must-see! During special event periods, amazake is also served.
