Chiguri Doi Park has a lotus pond of approximately 9,700 square meters within its 3,000-tsubo site. In the southern approximately 200-square-meter pond, the charming 'Two Thousand Year Lotus' and 'Maihi Lotus' varieties bloom one after another from late June to mid-July every year, while in early August, edible lotus flowers as large as a child's head bloom in the main pond.
