Orihime Park was developed and opened in 1976 covering an area of 10.5 hectares. The view from the Kagamiiwa Observation Deck at the north end of the park offers a panoramic view of the Kanto Plain. The park has cherry trees, maples, azaleas, and other flowering trees planted in mountainous areas at altitudes from 60 to 160 meters, making it beloved as a place of relaxation for citizens throughout the four seasons. Adjacent Orihime Shrine also serves as the starting and ending point of the Ashikaga Prefectural Natural Park Hiking Course, allowing visitors to fully enjoy nature.
