Commemorating the 450th anniversary of the construction of Azuchi Castle, a planned hiking event by the tourist volunteer guide associations of Omi Hachiman and Azuchi. From JR Omi Hachiman Station (North Exit), via Chosenjin Kaido, Honganji Hachiman Betsuin, former Hachimanyama Castle Town, Kurohashi Old Battlefield Site, Takagi Shrine, Kagekiyo-do, Jogon-in, Azuchi Castle Ruins Museum, JR Azuchi Station (lunch break). After the break, from Azuchi Castle Town to Dodo Bridge, Azuchi Castle (those who wish to visit can disband freely: admission fee required), disband at Azuchi Station. Walking distance is about 12 km. No advance reservation required. Bring your own lunch.
