This exhibition, titled "80 Years After the War: War and Children", introduces works created during the war and immediately after the end of the war that focus on children, as well as picture books, textbooks, and kamishibai created for children, and even works drawn by children themselves during wartime. By interpreting these "children"-related artworks along with their historical background, the exhibition examines what kind of gaze artists directed toward children during this turbulent era.
