The 'Hatsuuma Grand Festival' is held over 7 days starting from the first horse day of the second month of the lunar calendar every year, praying for a good harvest, business prosperity, family safety, and more. During the period, the mikoshi togyo (portable shrine procession) features the splendid daimyo procession by the city-designated cultural property 'Takekoma Yakko,' children, mikoshi, and mounted warriors. Since ancient times, Hatsuuma pilgrimage has been considered a fortunate visit, and every year many people gather and bustle.
