Iwatsuki Castle Ruins Park is one of the prefecture's leading cherry blossom spots, with about 600 cherry trees blooming. It is a park with many undulations surrounded by natural forest, where the earthworks of Iwatsuki Castle still remain. In the iris pond within the park, a vermilion-painted Yatsuhashi bridge enhances the park's beauty. Various lively events are held throughout the four seasons, and in spring, the Cherry Blossom Festival and Nagashi-bina (floating hina dolls) are held.
