Hachioji-gu Shrine, with a history of about 600 years, is loved by local people as a cherry blossom spot. About 150 cherry trees including Yoshino cherries and weeping cherries bloom all at once. The weeping cherry in the adjacent Hachioji Park is also a popular cherry blossom viewing spot.
