A nature park in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture, where water and greenery harmonize, developed around a reservoir built about 500 years ago. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom magnificently throughout the park. The park has playground equipment and well-maintained walking paths circling the pond, making it a popular spot for families. Yakushoji Pond also has legends of spirit water gushing out and a dragon having lived there, and there is a wetland botanical garden at the waterside plaza.
