Located in the Yamada district in northern Miyaki Town, Shirasaka Park is near the trailhead of Mt. Takatori. In spring, mountains spread out beyond the flower mist, creating a landscape like a piece of ink painting. There are about 200 cherry trees on both sides of the approach leading to Shirasaka Okuno-in, and under the tree-lined path, you can see slightly shaded, light-ink cherry blossoms. Many hanami visitors from in and outside the town come to see these cherry blossoms.
