Ikaho Green Ranch is a tourist ranch on the slopes of Mt. Haruna, featuring 1,500 cherry trees of 19 varieties. From mid-April Somei Yoshino to early May double-petaled (yaezakura) varieties, visitors can enjoy cherry blossoms over an extended period. Approximately 700 Somei Yoshino trees, when viewed from the ranch's Miharashiyama hill, appear like a sea of clouds — earning them the name 'Haruna Unkai Sakura' (Haruna Cloud-Sea Cherry Blossoms). Many trees are over 40 years old, offering a spectacular display.
