At Chinrei Shrine in Utsubuki Park in Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture, a Chinrei Shrine Annual Grand Festival (Shokon Festival) is held every April 15 to comfort the war dead. As a shrine enshrining war dead from the central Tottori area, it is an important festival for offering prayers of gratitude and for peace. The annual festival is the most important event at the shrine and a day wrapped in quiet prayer.
