Kagamino Park, selected as one of 'Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots,' is one of the prefecture's most famous cherry blossom locations. You can enjoy various types of cherry blossoms including Yoshino cherries and double-flowered cherries, and the 200-meter cherry blossom tunnel at the adjacent Kochi University of Technology is a popular spot. During the Sakura Festival in late March to early April, food stalls are typically open even on weekdays (no stalls in case of rain). Additionally, nearly 1,000 cherry trees are planted at Kochi University of Technology, making it a recommended spot for strolling.
