It is said that hanami (cherry blossom viewing) originated from offering and entertaining the gods who descended upon cherry blossoms in spring. A spring festival to admire the magnificent cherry blossoms blooming at Kemigawa Shrine's east approach will be held with the cooperation of local volunteers. During the period, 'kagura, gagaku, and Noh dedications', 'Sakura Café', 'food truck stalls', and 'limited goshuin distribution' are scheduled.
