An ancient cherry tree about 500 years old, about 21 meters tall, with a base circumference of about 6 meters, designated as a prefectural natural monument. The scientific name is Edohigan, but because the lower part of the flower calyx tube swells into a sphere and looks like a gourd from the side, it came to be called Hyotan (gourd) Sakura. The distance from Osaki to Hyotan-zakura is 3.5 kilometers.
