The Long-Run Fireworks Festival marks its 45th year in 2026. Spanning approximately half a year from April to October, large fireworks burst over Lake Toya for about 20 minutes starting at 8:45 p.m. The fireworks that vividly envelop the night of Lake Toya can be seen from guest rooms and outdoor baths at Toya Onsen hotels, and the colorful fireworks reflected on the lake surface create a fantastical world. Note that the event proceeds in rain but may be cancelled if wind direction and speed become unstable.
