Lupine is a legume plant also known as 'climbing wisteria.' A spectacular display of 10,000 lupine plants blooming in succession across a 1,200-tsubo area. With over 20 color varieties including red, yellow, blue, and purple, the scene is just as the poem says — 'Open the lid of a crayon box and you have a lupine field' — a breathtaking landscape unfolds. Tezukuri-mura Koiso-go lupines are especially renowned. Once you see them, you are bound to be amazed!
