Under the supervision of Sylvie Buisson, a leading French researcher on Foujita, this exhibition unravels Foujita's art through seven perspectives that the painter was passionate about throughout his life: 'Self-Expression', 'Landscape', 'Avant-Garde', 'East and West', 'Women', 'Children', and 'Heaven and Angels'. Enjoy about 160 works including oil paintings, prints, watercolors, sketches, and documents gathered from Japan and abroad. Many overseas private collections, mainly from France, will be shown in Japan for the first time.
