The cherry tree row along the embankment of Shikanokawa Pond blooms all at once from late March, bustling with hanami visitors. During the blooming period, night cherry blossoms are illuminated. Cherry blossoms reflected on the water surface create a fantastic scene. There is also Shikanokawa Pond Park (Chibikko Plaza) with playground equipment, making it a popular spot for parent-child outings. Additionally, on the north slope of nearby Mt. Inari, there is a colony of katakuri (dogtooth violet), boasting one of the largest scales in the Kanto region with beautiful purple-red flowers, allowing you to enjoy katakuri before the cherry blossoms bloom.
