Cherry trees scattered throughout the wide precincts bloom with light pink flowers, adding color to the dark gray of the natural monument Wollastonite within the precincts, increasing their beauty. There are many viewing points: cherry blossoms seen from Tsukimitei (Moon-Viewing Pavilion) of Omi Hakkei 'Ishiyama no Shugetsu,' and cherry blossoms along the nearby Seta River.
