An annual festival held every May 5. Portable shrines (mikoshi) from each local shrine gather at Hyoshu Taisha at noon after morning rituals, and a grand procession with large and small mikoshi and an iris mikoshi from each parish proceeds along the approach. The traditional attire of each parish adds colorful splendor. The procession travels about 300 meters from the first torii gate to the vermilion torii gate, passing a drum bridge.
