The Japanese garden in Sakurayama Park is an authentic pond-stroll garden combining a large pond and clear streams using 1,500 tons of Sanba stone. This plaza is at the climbing entrance to Mt. Sakurayama and serves as the symbol of the entire park. A total of 10,000 cherry trees including 3,000 Yoshino and 7,000 winter cherries bloom together, dyeing the entire mountain in cherry blossom color.
