Kasayama is an active volcano in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, with a small crater 30 meters in diameter and 30 meters deep, rising 112 meters above sea level, with islands floating in the Sea of Japan in the background. At the summit of Kasayama, where you can see the crater up close, there are about 220 cherry trees, and along with the blossoms, you can overlook Hagi city, the Sea of Japan, and the Hagi Six Islands. Access is about 15 minutes by car from Hagi city center. At the café on the summit observatory Tobinosu, you can enjoy original drinks such as local coffee.
