The scenic road extending from the foot of Mt. Ohira features a cherry blossom tunnel of about 2 km, called the 'Cherry Blossom Tunnel,' where you can enjoy a magnificent cherry blossom tunnel. Yoshino cherries, mountain cherries, etc. total about 4,000 throughout Mt. Ohira. Walk through the 2 km cherry blossom tunnel along the scenic road. From Kenshin-daira, you can see the entire Kanto Plain, and on clear days, you might even see the Sky Tree. The weeping cherry tree at Taisanji Temple, about 400 years old, is also a must-see! During the period, the 'Mt. Ohira Cherry Blossom Festival' is held, with one-way traffic regulations implemented on the scenic road.
