Ogi Park is a garden created by Nabeshima Mototake, the first feudal lord of Ogi Domain, and his second-generation lord, Naoyoshi. It has been selected as one of 'Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots' and one of 'Japan's Top 100 Historical Parks.' About 3,000 cherry trees are planted within the park, and the beautifully blooming cherry blossoms welcome hanami visitors. At night, the cherry blossoms are illuminated by the light of the bonbori lanterns, creating a fantastic space. From May, azaleas and wisteria also reach their peak.
