The Honma Museum's Hina Matsuri, continuing since 1948. The gentle smiles of the hina dolls and classical dolls such as gosho dolls and costume dolls invite you into an elegant world. The exhibition features precious hina dolls including the collection of Tsuruoka businessman Saito Shoji (Hakutaku Bunko), tiered displays from the Kazama and Shirasaki families of Shonai, and hina dolls made by Oki Heizo, a hina doll craftsman of the long-established Kyoto doll shop 'Maruhei Oki Doll Shop,' donated by Rinchoji Temple. Wishing for the healthy growth of children.
