Setsuko Migishi moved to Cagnes in southern France in 1968 and worked on landscape paintings, often depicting scenes woven by the canals and stone townscapes of Venice, Italy. In 1974, she held the "Flowers and Venice: Setsuko Migishi Exhibition" in Paris and Japan, receiving high acclaim. Until her return to Japan in 1989, she produced impressive works based on landscapes across Europe. This exhibition introduces her lifetime of works, focusing on Venetian landscape paintings showing diverse compositions and flower works.
