Mount Sekizen, towering at an altitude of about 370m in the center of Iwagi Island, Kamijima Town, Ehime Prefecture. Cherry trees stand along the mountain, blooming all around as if embracing the mountain. Mimosa can be seen in mid-March, and yamatsutsuji (mountain azalea) in mid-April. Mount Sekizen is also called 'Iwagi Fuji', and from the summit you can view the beauty of the islands of the Seto Inland Sea. The main event will be held on Sunday, April 5. Various events such as lottery, stage performances, and local gourmet stalls will be held. Recommended for hanami with family or friends.
