Wrapped in ancient trees over a thousand years old, Nukisaki Shrine, surrounded by a solemn atmosphere, is a famous shrine listed as a Myojin Grand Shrine in the Engishiki Jinmyocho. In the first year of Emperor Ankan (531), Futsunushi-no-Kami, the god of war, and Hime Okami, the goddess of agriculture and weaving, were enshrined here. In spring, the approach becomes a cherry blossom arch.
