Dake Onsen in Nihonmatsu City, Fukushima, is just a 1-minute walk from the last bus stop and easily accessible. In spring, about 800 cherry trees bloom magnificently. Beyond the cherry-lined Sakurazaka slope, visitors arrive at Kagami-ga-ike Park, where the far bank of the pond offers a stunning contrast of cherry blossom rows and the remaining snow of Mt. Adatara. This view is a popular scenic spot announcing the arrival of spring. On the way up Sakurazaka slope, there is also a foot bath where visitors can soak in the hot spring while enjoying the cherry blossoms — a uniquely attractive experience at Dake Onsen.
