The 'Hanahana Festival' held at Sadamisaki Hanahana in Ikata Town, Ehime Prefecture, is a spring tradition that offers plenty of regional charm. A diverse program of events keeps visitors entertained—an impressive marine fireworks display, local food stalls, dance and live performances. The specialty goods corner features local Ikata flavors and crafts. The popular fish-catching activity for children is limited to the first 100 people (numbered tickets required). The mochi-tossing event is fun for all ages. An event where you can feel the warmth of the local community under the beautiful sea and sky.
