The prefectural road called Hiyoshi Banba from Keihan Sakamoto Hieizanguchi Station to the torii gate at the entrance of Hiyoshi Taisha is filled with about 200 cherry trees in full bloom. Various varieties of cherries including mountain cherry, Somei Yoshino, and weeping cherry bloom in profusion. Note that there are no cherry trees within Hiyoshi Taisha precincts.
