A rare large cherry tree, designated as a city cultural property. It is thought to be an Edo Higan cherry, planted in 1905 and transplanted to Ajimano Elementary School in 1929. The cherry tree standing in the middle of the schoolyard seems to warmly watch over the children playing energetically. During the peak cherry blossom viewing season, limited-time illumination is held every year, allowing you to enjoy the romantic atmosphere of night cherry blossoms.
