Cherry tree avenue centered on Somei Yoshino continues for about 1 km. It started when Kasamatsu Town planted the trees in 1970, and is also called 'Senbon Sakura' (Thousand Cherry Trees), known as a famous cherry blossom spot. It is also selected as one of the 33 Hida-Mino Cherry Blossom Selections, and bustles with many flower viewers every year.
