Daihoshi Park is a beautiful famous cherry blossom spot also selected as one of the '100 famous cherry blossom spots in Japan'. In spring, about 2,000 cherry trees including Yoshino cherry, Satozakura, and Shidarezakura bloom all at once. From inside the park, you can view the Kofu Basin and distant Mt. Fuji and Yatsugatake. During the period, light-ups are also held, allowing you to enjoy fantastical night cherry blossoms. During the Sakura Festival period, the road to the park becomes one-way traffic.
