The Yoneshiro River flows through northern Akita Prefecture, with many cherry trees planted along its embankment, creating a beautiful cherry blossom avenue each spring. Crossing the river opposite the Odate City Tashiro General Branch Office (near Hayakuchi Station), visitors can enjoy a row of cherry trees along the riverbank — a soothing sight of the river flowing and petals dancing in the breeze.
