The first large-scale international exhibition tracing the paths of Japan and Korea through art. Held as a joint project between the Yokohama Museum of Art and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea, it brings 19 masterpieces from the Korean museum's collection to Japan, and introduces about 160 works by more than 50 artists, including works shown in Japan for the first time. Visitors can view works by video artist Nam June Paik, who was involved with the Japanese art world around the time of the normalization of Japan-Korea diplomatic relations, and contemporary artist Masato Nakamura, who studied at a Korean art university in 1990 and connected with artists of the same era, among others.
